What is stuff made of?

Condensed matter physics is the science of why different materials act in different ways. From the lights in your computer to the windows of your car, condensed matter physics is all around us. At Durham University we aim to share our love of physics through research inspired school visits across the Northeast.

WISMO? is our flagship science engagement

project, introducing cutting edge material science to

schools through hands-on activities.
